Integrated device for hydrogen production and drying in power plant

In the process of power generation, when the generator is running to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy, energy loss will inevitably occur. The lost energy will eventually turn into heat, which will raise the temperature of the rotor, stator and other components of the generator.

To remove this heat, the generator is usually forced to cool. Common cooling methods include air cooling, water cooling and hydrogen cooling.

Because the thermal conductivity of hydrogen is 7 times of that of air, and the cooling efficiency of hydrogen is higher than that of air cooling and water cooling, the water hydrogen hydrogen cooling method is adopted for power plant generator set, that is, water cooling of stator winding, hydrogen cooling of rotor winding, and cooling of iron core and end hydrogen external structural parts.

Hydrogen has a strong thermal conductivity. The power plant has enough electricity, but the amount of hydrogen used is not too large. Generally, hydrogen is produced by electrolysis.

The equipment includes integrated hydrogen production unit, hydrogen decompression distribution panel, control cabinet, rectifier cabinet, make-up pump, raw water tank, alkali liquor tank and analytical instrument.
